Listen to two fantastic concertos for violin and orchestra conducted by Sir Neville Marriner and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. The first Concert is the well known and very famous concert in E-Minor op.64 from Mendelssohn Bartholdy. A catchy melody, the perfect balance between orchestra and soloist and the quality of the composition gives the audience a lasting impression. The second concert composed by Johannes Brahms is the also very popular concert for for violin and orchestra D-Major op.77. There are quite a lot of technical difficulties for the soloist to deal with, but the violinist Dmitry Sitkovetsky handles this brilliant and gives this recording a unique and unforgetable voice.
