Brandenburg Concertos

It was music that made the name of Brandenburg immortal. To be more precise, the six concertos, of which the musical director at the court of Köthen, Johann Sebastian Bach, dedicated and sent a manuscripture to margrave Christian Ludwig of Brandenburg on 24 March 1721. Doubtless, this magnificent music should still be part of the standard repertoire of any orchestra and concert programme today.
